At Vanderbilt Appraisal Company in Manhattan, under the auspices of Brown Harris Stevens, he appraised residential real estate for Andrew Fautley, principal and co-founder of the company. At Barnum Financial Group, a MetLife subsidiary in Stamford, CT, he worked as a Licensed Life, Accident & Health Insurance Broker, and while at Loyola Marymount he interned at UBS Wealth Management under Roy Cashion, managing financial portfolios.
Alexander relocated back to the North Fork in 2011, working for Brown Harris Stevens as a marketing consultant before earning his license as a Real Estate Salesperson and Certified Buyer Representative in 2013.
